Inspired by global opportunities like the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program, this experience introduces you to the kinds of journeys language can open — from studying abroad to living and working in Japan and beyond.

About JETPrep High School
If you’re studying Japanese and wondering where this could actually lead — you’re not alone.
JETPrep High School is a free, flexible program that helps you explore how Japanese connects to real opportunities and real people.
This isn’t another class.
No grades.
No tests.
No pressure.
Instead, you’ll explore possibilities through reflection, conversation, and real stories from people who have used Japanese in different ways.
Who This Is For
This might be for you if…
• you’re currently studying Japanese (any level)
• you sometimes wonder where Japanese could actually take you
• you’re curious about Japan beyond anime, classwork, or textbooks
• you want to explore future possibilities — without having everything figured out
• you enjoy thinking, reflecting, and having real conversations
You don’t need to know your future yet.
No fluency required.
Curiosity is enough.
What You’ll Do
• short, self-paced activities to explore your interests
• 4 live sessions with JET alumni and professionals
• conversations with students from other schools
• explore real paths connected to Japan and global careers
• build a personal reflection portfolio you can use later
Everything is designed to feel engaging — not overwhelming.
You choose how much you participate.
