🎓 JETPrep High School
Spring 2026 | February–May
A free, grant-supported enrichment experience for high school students studying Japanese.
JETPrep High School helps students explore why language learning matters beyond the classroom — connecting Japanese study to real people, real pathways, and future possibilities.
Students participate through short self-paced activities, live virtual conversations, and guided reflection designed to fit alongside their regular coursework.
Ideal for:
Japanese language students, clubs, and enrichment programs
No fluency required — curiosity is enough.
🌸 JETPrep Essentials

A mentor-supported program for those preparing for opportunities like the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program — and navigating the in-between season of exploration, application, and next steps.
JETPrep Essentials helps participants feel confident, grounded, and supported as they prepare for living and working in Japan. The program focuses on cultural understanding, communication, and the real experience of teaching and collaborating in Japanese schools.
Participants explore topics such as:
• Japanese school culture and classroom dynamics
• Team teaching and building relationships with JTEs and students
• Communication styles, trust-building, and cultural norms
• Professional confidence and presence in the classroom
• Social-emotional skills for resilience, adaptability, and transition
• Practical preparation for daily life in Japan
JETPrep Essentials is designed to support participants before departure, offering structure, mentorship, and community — without pressure or overwhelm.

Summer 2026
Short-term immersion experiences in Japan designed to build confidence through reflection, connection, and meaningful cultural engagement.
